The Studio
Christina Jensen Vicente Studio is a design studio focused on handmade textile wall-hangings designed for interior environments. The Studio works mostly by commission, ensuring that every piece is made-to-measure and honors its surroundings. The studio also maintains an occasional online shop featuring smaller works.
We partner with interior designers, architects, and other design professionals on site-specific works for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. We also work directly with private clients and gladly advise on aesthetic considerations for commissioned work as part of our process.
The Studio is located in the United States on the southwest coast of Florida, near Sarasota.
The Artist
Christina is a Danish-American designer. Her cultural background is evident in her work, which is characterized by the simplicity and refinement of Scandinavia while also honoring the inherent beauty of natural materials, as is tradition in the American South, where she grew up.
Her professional background extends deep into the luxury, fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industries, where she has held design roles at CHANEL and Martha Stewart Living. She has refined her personal aesthetic throughout her career. Today, she explores methods of working with textiles and traditional fiber techniques such as weaving to create works of scale.
Christina holds a Masters Degree in Interior Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. She currently heads the design efforts for the Global Retail Innovation team at CHANEL. In this role, she travels regularly between New York City and Florida, where she lives and maintains her studio.
